Reflection is something I have only recently learned how to do. Exercising this skill has allowed me to access the courage within myself, to begin searching for answers about the way I view the world and my place within it. I am able to see myself in a positive light and forgive myself for carrying generations of fear and anger instilled by the residential school experiences my family has been subject to. I am grateful to be able to discover my many emotions and express them in the best possible way. I am home.
